tips for hardcore shows
1) never wear flip flops
-you will lose them
-you might trip into a near by mosh pit
-your feet will be stomped on
2) don’t stand at the back of the room
-show will be no fun
-shows that you don’t want to be involved with the music
-your probably a “negative nancy”
-doesn’t make you look cooler
3) if you want to mosh
-take turns with other fellow hardcore dancers
-try preventing the hitting of bystanders whom are not involved in the pit
-create a circle pit during your favorite breakdowns
-be prepared to get hit involuntarily
-push as many people as you can, but they will push you
-help kids if they fall, and as to you
-take breaks between breakdowns,
-you will have more energy for dance moves in upcoming circle pits
4) if you don’t want to mosh
-stay near back of the room or sides
-don’t push people, go with the crowd
-move away from pit if one forms nearby
-scream, cry, and make a scene if your pushed into one
5) if you want to crowd surf
-make a “lift” signal to the nearest big guy around
-when one lifts you, act like a dead body so the crowd can push you with ease
-if you move too much, be prepared to to accidently fall to the floor
-always be prepared to fall
-never kick or punch while your crowd surfing, you are vulnerable to everyone around you
-always know, if your near the front, you will possibly loose your spot
-don’t attempt to get on stage, the security guards may give you a hard time
6) recommended attire for hardcore shows
-no more than 1 shirt
-tight jeans
-all body jewelry
-old school shoes
-ridiculous costumes
-don’t wear flip flops or Uggs
7) if you want to go to a hardcore show
-have a lot of fun
-drink a lot of water/ it’s going to be fucking hot
-don’t wear a lot of clothes/ it’s going to be fucking hot
-try moshing
-try crowd surfing
-meet new hardcore people
-feel hardcore
